I can't say that I actually agree with a stance of linguistic prescriptivism - but damn, is it fun to prescribe language.
- "Canon" is a noun, not an adjective. The adjectival form is "canonical".
- The antonym of "associate" is "dissociate", not "disassociate". Adding the second prefix is utter barbarism.
